Job OverviewAs a Pastry Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our baking operations. Your expertise will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and creativity.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare a variety of doughs and batters following established recipes and special requests.
- Oversee the baking of diverse items including cupcakes, cookies, and specialty cakes.
- Manage and guide baking staff and kitchen personnel to maintain a productive work environment.
- Decorate and present baked goods to enhance visual appeal.
- Develop and implement production schedules to optimize workflow.
- Provide training and mentorship to new staff members.
- Ensure all products adhere to quality standards and specifications.
- Assist in managing inventory and supplies for baking operations.
- Coordinate sales and merchandising efforts to promote our products.
- Completion of secondary school education.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in baking or pastry production.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and physically demanding setting.
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Work hours range from 30 to 44 hours per week.
- Ability to lift weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
