About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Laborer to join our team at Phoenix Traffic Control Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Clean and lubricate cranes and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Training and Development: Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on construction techniques and best practices.
  • Site Preparation: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to prepare surfaces for construction.
  • Earthwork and Grading: Level earth to fine grade specifications to ensure even surfaces.
  • Paving and Raking: Pave and rake asphalt to create smooth surfaces.
  • Environmental Safety: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Site Cleanup: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
  • Traffic Control: Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime as needed.
