Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Airport Ramp Attendant to join our team at Strickland's Auto & Gas. As a key member of our airport operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of aircraft, passengers, and cargo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain ramp-servicing vehicles and equipment to facilitate efficient aircraft turnaround times.
  • Load and unload cargo and passenger baggage, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Coordinate with other airport units and departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor and maintain computer equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Unload, sort, and route cargo and passenger baggage to their designated destinations.
  • Transport freight between aircraft and airport warehouses, adhering to safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work outdoors and at heights.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • English language proficiency.
  • Availability to work 35 to 40 hours per week.
