Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Assurance Specialist is integral to maintaining the integrity and dependability of designated projects by acting as the testing lead. Key duties encompass outlining testing parameters and methodologies, preparing test data, and upholding project-specific documentation and reports.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the subject matter authority for designated projects, encompassing requirements, acceptance criteria, and client insights
  • Proficient in using API platforms such as Postman
  • Effectively prioritize tasks and projects
  • Engage proactively during the requirements phase to elucidate acceptance criteria and development stories
  • Guide the project in comprehending Biller requirements and scope
  • Develop detailed Test Plans and test cases linked to requirements and development stories
  • Participate in Defect Triage meetings to identify and address bugs and defects
  • Manage JIRA reporting and dashboards
  • Replicate and communicate bugs/defects to the development teams
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 1-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or a degree in Computer Science
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

This position is office-based and necessitates the use of standard office equipment. The individual must possess strong communication skills and be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.

Working Hours and Travel:

This is a full-time role, operating Monday to Friday during standard business hours. Occasional weekend work may be necessary. No travel is anticipated for this position.
