Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:
Our client, a reputable Canadian industrial manufacturer, is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join their Richmond Hill facility. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products and equipment throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and verify tooling and products at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality requirements
• Audit and verify the compliance of subcontracted operations
• Ensure that processes are followed while sending products for outside processes and upon receiving back, verifying all documents and records along with the workflow
• Collect data and record all facts for nonconforming parts
• Read and operate measuring instruments and verify their fitness for intended use
• Assist in the inspection process and notify supervisors or engineering of production issues as per department directives
• Verify before shipment all records as per the job ticket and authorize shipment after verification
• Ensure all Safety Rules and Regulations are followed at all times
• Attend daily departmental meetings
• Operate equipment in a safe manner, including immediately reporting any equipment malfunction

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a heavy industrial setting
• Ability to read blueprints would be an asset
• Overhead Crane Operator certified, or willing to be trained
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and highly organized
• Able to lift 46lbs and capable of standing for long periods of time
