Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Qualicare Home Care Kamloops.

Job Summary:

The Healthcare Support Worker will provide high-quality patient care and support to our clients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives and work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding patients
  • Help patients with mobility and transfer activities
  • Administer first aid and respond to emergencies
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • First Aid and CPR certification required
  • 1-7 months of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
