Job Summary

POWER TOWING & RECOVERY LTD is seeking a skilled and reliable Tow Truck Driver to join our team. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tow truck, responding to emergency calls, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tow truck as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of vehicles.
  • Inspect and maintain the condition of the tow truck, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch and other team members to receive and relay information.
  • Record important information, including cargo details, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
  • Organized and reliable.
  • Team player with a hardworking attitude.
  • Patience and ability to work well under pressure.
