POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Baker to join our Tim Hortons team. This role focuses on delivering an outstanding experience for our customers while fostering a safe and enjoyable work atmosphere for our employees.

As a Baker, your primary responsibility will be to prepare and bake high-quality goods that meet the standards of Tim Hortons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of goods
  • Restock pastry displays and ensure a fresh supply of baked items
  • Maintain consistent quality in food preparation, accommodating special dietary needs
  • Retrieve products from cold storage, operate baking equipment, and decorate pastries according to established guidelines
  • Prepare baked items including muffins, donuts, breads, and more
  • Prepare toppings and ingredients necessary for all baked goods
  • Adhere to food hygiene standards in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Complete training modules provided by Tim Hortons
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment
  • Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, contributing to a memorable culinary experience

Candidate Profile

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced food service environment, preferably at Tim Hortons
  • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English
  • Background in baking or food preparation
  • Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in cooler environments
  • FoodSafe Level I certification is required; advanced food safety certifications are advantageous
