Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with hospital policies and BCCNM Standards for Nursing Practice in British Columbia.
- Plan and coordinate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Completion of all Specialty Trained Nursing Skills (STN) related to the unit of employment within six months of employment.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
