Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional health services in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with hospital policies and BCCNM Standards for Nursing Practice in British Columbia.
  • Plan and coordinate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
  • Completion of all Specialty Trained Nursing Skills (STN) related to the unit of employment within six months of employment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
