About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our team as a House Parent. In this role, you will create a nurturing and safe environment within our group living setting, providing support and care to individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute monthly meal plans, preparing nutritious and high-quality home-cooked meals, snacks, and baked goods.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping, ensuring a comfortable and safe living environment.
- Provide compassionate care and support to individuals with complex needs, including those with behavioral challenges, developmental disabilities, and mental health concerns.
- Assist in teaching life skills such as self-care, cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and fostering positive interactions.
- Complete reports and documentation with accuracy and timeliness, following agency standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- At least one year of experience cooking for large groups, such as in a family setting.
- Experience working with children, youth, or adults facing behavioral, cognitive, mental health, or developmental challenges is desirable.
