Job Title: House Parent

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our team as a House Parent. As a House Parent, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and safe environment within our group living setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute monthly meal plans to ensure nutritious and high-quality meals for residents.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping, including daily maintenance of cleanliness in the home.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to individuals with complex needs, including those with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, and mental health concerns.
  • Assist in teaching life skills such as self-care, cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and fostering positive interactions.
  • Complete reports and documentation with accuracy and timeliness, following agency standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required.
  • At least one year of experience cooking for large groups, such as in a family setting.
  • Experience working with children, youth, or adults facing behavioral, cognitive, mental health, or developmental challenges is desirable.
