Job Title: Laundry Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team at Hôtel Alt Quartier DIX30.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating dryers and blow-drying machines, mixing and adding detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals, and hand-folding and bagging shirts, sheets, and other articles.

Responsibilities
  • Operate dryers and blow-drying machines to ensure efficient and effective laundry processing.
  • Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals to achieve optimal cleaning results.
  • Hand-fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles to ensure they are properly prepared for storage or distribution.
  • Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry-cleaned and laundered articles.
  • Assemble and bag finished articles to ensure they are properly packaged and ready for distribution.
  • Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that establishment standards are met.
  • Record damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles to maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in laundry and dry cleaning is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Physically demanding work environment.
