We are seeking a skilled Gas Fitter to join our team at MBEZ. As a Gas Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain gas lines, pipes, and fittings
  • Service and repair gas heating units and their components
  • Measure and mark reference points for installation of gas lines and equipment
  • Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems
  • Test and replace defective equipment or components
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
  • Gas Fitter Trade Certification
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Basic security clearance
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
