Job Title: Gas Fitter

At MBEZ, we are seeking a skilled Gas Fitter to join our team. As a Gas Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas heating units and their components. You will also attend to gas escape calls, measure and mark reference points for installation of gas lines and equipment, and service gas heating units and their components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install gas heating units and their components
  • Attend to gas escape calls
  • Measure and mark reference points for installation of gas lines and equipment
  • Service gas heating units and their components
  • Install and maintain meters and regulators and gas lines between gas unit and gas meter
Requirements:
  • Gas Fitter Trade Certification
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
Work Environment:

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods. You will also be required to work in confined spaces, noisy areas, and non-smoking environments.
