Job Summary

H SIDHU LOGISTICS INC is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring that all cargo is secure and properly stowed.
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Emergency Roadside Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed to ensure the safe operation of the vehicle.
  • Inspections and Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and perform preventive maintenance as required.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and securing it properly.
Requirements
  • AZ Class License: Possess a valid AZ class license.
  • Documentation Knowledge: Be familiar with driver logbooks, inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports.
  • Workplace Information: Be prepared to work on the road, with a permanent work term and 40 hours of work per week.
