Position Summary:

This role is responsible for enhancing company profitability and identifying opportunities for operational improvement through data analysis. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders to provide actionable insights and develop strategic recommendations to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and evaluate category trends, promotion effectiveness, and product profitability to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain technical reports for regular distribution to stakeholders, including store teams, category buying teams, and executive teams.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to address operational issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reviews of established KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in grocery or retail, preferably with a focus on data analysis and business insights.
  • Superior quantitative skills in statistics and analysis, with advanced MS Excel capabilities and exemplary SQL abilities.
  • Ability to leverage partnerships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results.

Work Environment:

The work environment is typical of an office setting, with a moderate noise level. The successful candidate will be required to sit, stand, and use their hands to handle objects, tools, or controls. Lifting up to 10 pounds may be required.
