Position Summary:

We are currently in search of a Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Manager who will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing the company’s quality, environmental, health, and safety policies, processes, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the activities of Receiving Inspectors, Final Inspectors, and Quality Engineers.
  • Ensure the quality system is maintained and developed, retaining ISO 9001:2015 certification across manufacturing facilities.
  • Manage the ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications for our manufacturing operations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate external audits with accredited registrars.
  • Act as the lead auditor for internal system audits, including training auditors and directing audit processes.
  • Address customer complaints, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions, ensuring effectiveness and communication with stakeholders.
  • Administer the Corrective Action Preventive Action program, addressing nonconformities and audit findings.
  • Contribute to Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities for new product development and prepare PPAP packages for customer submission.
  • Verify that all products, equipment, and processes are fully qualified before implementing changes or starting new products.
  • Develop and review QEHS risk assessments in collaboration with the operations team.
  • Participate in EH&S incident investigations and prepare necessary reports in conjunction with senior management.
  • Educate employees on EH&S risks and promote awareness.
  • Review military, automotive, aerospace, and commercial specifications to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Forecast annual resource needs and budget for capital expenditures.
  • Identify QEHS objectives, prepare metrics and reports related to QEHS activities, and present findings to management.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management, suppliers, and customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including team management.
  • Strong understanding of electromechanical concepts.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
  • Solid grasp of statistical quality concepts and problem-solving tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to support quality functions.

Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 annually
