International Student Recruitment Coordinator

Job Summary
This role provides administrative support to the International Education team at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. The successful candidate will assist with student orientation, peer mentoring, and data entry, while also contributing to social media updates and other tasks as assigned.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic office support, including tasks such as stuffing envelopes, compiling information packages, and setting up meeting rooms.
- Assist with student orientation and other presentations, promoting a positive experience for international students.
- Offer peer mentoring and support to prospective and new students, helping them navigate academic and personal challenges.
- Perform basic data entry, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.
- Contribute to social media updates, helping to engage with international students and promote the institution's global presence.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of International Education.
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Good public speaking skills, with the ability to present to groups.
- Ability to travel, with occasional overnight trips required.
- Knowledge of social media in an international context, with the ability to create engaging content.
- Knowledge of the challenges and rewards facing international students studying in Canada.
- Demonstrates a commitment to valuing diversity and promoting inclusivity.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a strong understanding of social media and its role in promoting the institution's global presence.
