Job Description

As a Continuing Care Assistant with Health Careers in Saskatchewan, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to clients/patients/residents. Your primary responsibility will be to support clients/patients/residents in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and activities of daily living to encourage optimum level of functioning.
  • Support clients/patients/residents in maintaining their independence and autonomy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assist with medication administration, as required.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Food Safe certificate, where required
  • Valid driver's license, where required
