**Job description**

TCBH Surgical Centre is a Medical and Surgical Clinic working with General Surgeons, Urologists, Gynecologists, Plastic Surgeons and Multiple other specialties. We are looking for a part time Healthcare Salesperson who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a Healthcare Salesperson, you will be the first contact between our clinic and initial sales enquiries, following up on generated leads and converting into business activity.

You will work to provide every patient with a positive experience acting as a resource for patient information and strengthen the initial relationship between the patient and our medical facility. The position places a significant emphasis on excellent customer service skills, teamwork and ongoing development.

**Job Duties**:

- Follow up on all generated sales leads in a professional and timely manor.
- Demonstrate impeccable customer service to promote the clinic’s services.
- Following training, be able to provide prospective customers insight into the available procedures and services, whilst moving them forward in the sales process to arrange initial consultations.
- Following training, accurately support team with the accurate recording of information in Accuro EMR as well as the booking of consultations.
- Respond to patient inquiries in a courteous and empathetic manner.
- Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal health information.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide and gather information, enabling patient requirements to be dealt with efficiently.
- Meet and achieve performance-based targets and metrics for the team.
- Meet high standards of cleanliness and adhere to infection control and prevention.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

**Required skills and experience**:

- Previous inside sales experience in healthcare desirable.
- Demonstrated high quality, compassionate, customer centered experience.
- Proven ability to work proficiently and independently in a busy fast paced environment.
- Ability to establish priorities and achieve objectives with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior telephone etiquette
- Proficiency in technology including EMR and CRM
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of electronic medical records or electronic health records (Accuro EMR) desirable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, be resourceful and demonstrate flexibility.
