About the Role
Mackenzie Health is seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a workload effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Address and resolve issues in a productive and respectful manner.
- Exercise sound professional judgment and use best practice guidelines.
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment for all through compliance with patient and staff safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Current Certificate of Registration in the General Class with the College of Nurses of Ontario required.
- Recent nursing experience working as a Registered Practical Nurse in an acute care setting within the past 3 years required.
- Enrolled in or successfully completed the IV Therapy Course.
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical Nurse Diploma from an approved nursing program preferred.
- Recent completion of a physical assessment course preferred.
- Member of the Registered Practical Nurses' Association of Ontario (RPNAO) preferred.
