We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Top in Town Pizza & Wings. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas and other menu items to meet the expectations of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to order, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we are always stocked and ready to meet customer demand.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a safe and clean working environment to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Operational Management: Manage kitchen operations, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
