About the Project:

The Scholarshipscafe is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Doctoral Researcher to join our team in a PhD project focused on quantifying the impact of nature-based solutions on hydrological risks and climate change adaptation in agricultural watersheds.

Research Objectives:

  1. To investigate the role of existing nature-based solutions in agricultural areas of southern Canada.
  2. To quantify the effects of nature-based solutions on surface and groundwater flows and quality.
  3. To determine which nature-based solutions have the greatest potential to reduce hydrological risks and improve water quality in agricultural watersheds.

Funding and Support:

The successful candidate will receive a scholarship of $25,000 per year for four years, providing an opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research and develop expertise in hydrology and climate change adaptation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must hold a Master's degree in Earth Sciences, Civil Engineering, or a related field, and demonstrate proficiency in French.
