Job Title: Business Development Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team at Supplement World. As a key member of our economic development team, you will play a crucial role in promoting industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies to support economic growth and development.
  • Administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment, including conducting research and analysis to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as preparing reports, research papers, and educational texts, to support business development initiatives.
  • Plan and develop projects to promote economic growth and development, including designing and conducting research projects to assess development potential and future trends.
  • Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities and provide advice on procedures and requirements for government approval of development proposals.
  • Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products and develop marketing strategies to support business development initiatives.
  • Review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals and provide recommendations for approval or rejection.
  • Evaluate customer service and store environments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance customer experience.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, economics, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as economic development, business development, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, including business owners, government officials, and community members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
