Community Residence Counselor

McLean Hospital is seeking a skilled Community Residence Counselor to provide direct patient care and participate in therapeutic milieu within the scope of defined practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care through group and individual counseling in accordance with current treatment plan.
- Establish relationships with patients that are helpful and maintain professional boundaries.
- Intervene in managing complex patient situations.
- Participate in leading and co-leading patient groups.
- Provide and supervise community activities according to needs.
- Communicate information regarding patient milieu/therapeutic environment to appropriate staff in a timely manner.
