About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Horiba Canada Inc. as a Precision Tooling Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-precision parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings: Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements.
  • Machine Tool Maintenance: Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Production Setup: Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to meet specific production requirements.
  • Quality Control: Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments and document any deviations from specifications.
  • Inspection and Reporting: Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
