Job Summary

The Pharmacy Assistant Data Entry Lead will be responsible for leading the Data Entry department and ensuring the efficient processing of pharmacy data. This role will involve training new pharmacy assistants, troubleshooting staff inquiries, and investigating incidents in the Data Entry department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and carry out Data Entry and Refill tasks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve staff inquiries about the workflow
  • Lead training of new pharmacy assistants and provide work-related feedback to existing staff members
  • Review the daily workflow and report delays to the Manager on duty
  • Investigate incidents as assigned by the pharmacy manager
  • Proactively provide solutions to resolve issues in the department
  • Complete filing requirements in accordance with the College regulations
  • Provide timely updates and reports concerns to the Pharmacy Manager
  • Work in collaboration with the Pharmacy Manager and Operations Manager to implement corporate initiatives relating to Data Entry workflow efficiency
  • Maintain customer service expectations in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of pharmacy data entry experience
  • Experience with Pharmanet Adjudication and Third Party Billing
  • Experience with Kroll system
  • Experience with MS Office, such as Outlook and Smartsheet, Google Sheets an asset
