Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Transfer Specialist to join our team. As a Transfer Specialist, you will be responsible for the safe and respectful transportation of deceased individuals to their final destination. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport deceased individuals to funeral homes, cemeteries, and other designated locations
  • Collaborate with funeral homes, cemeteries, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient transfers
  • Maintain accurate records of transfers and communicate with families and other stakeholders as needed
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of company vehicles
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and confidentiality agreements

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • At least one year of experience in a related field, such as funeral services or transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and push/pull up to 200 pounds
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate proprietary software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Work Environment

  • Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Local and/or multiple location traveling required
  • Comply with company dress code and safety protocols
