Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Projects team and Sales Representatives to achieve project goals.
  • Manage all aspects of a customer purchase order, including communication, documentation, coordination of material supply and delivery, and invoicing.
  • Monitor and track project progress, handle issues as they arise, and report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Liaise with customers to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Respond to customer requests in a timely manner and act as the point of contact for internal and external communication.
  • Maintain and grow stakeholder relations through exceptional service.
  • Take advantage of training opportunities and negotiate pricing and sales terms with vendors as per criteria from your manager.
  • Resolve customer service issues in a timely manner and follow up with the customer to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain technical knowledge on product lines and develop, grow, and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform other duties as agreed upon.
Requirements:
  • Minimum grade 12 education.
  • Work experience in the electrical industry is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • An understanding of vendor relationships.
  • Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Highly flexible with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player, adaptable, energetic, with a positive professional attitude and manner.
  • Good knowledge of the electrical distribution sales model is an asset.
  • Knowledge of using price sheets and matrices is an asset.
