About The Opportunity

Our client, a leading mid-sized business law firm, is seeking a commercial lawyer with a minimum of three years' experience to join its team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Advising on technology contracting and the commercialization of intellectual property law and technology products.
* Drafting and negotiation of standard agreements, including software license agreements and intellectual property licenses.
* Providing technology and intellectual property support for M&A transactions.
* Conducting due diligence and review of representations and warranties in respect to technology and intellectual property matters.
* Offering advice on privacy and compliance-related matters.

**Requirements:**

* A minimum of three years' experience working as a commercial or technology lawyer in a law firm or in-house setting.
* Active membership in a Law Society in a province in Canada.
* Excellent writing skills and the ability to convey complex matters in a simple manner.
