Project Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Architect to join our team at HOK Group, Inc. This role is responsible for the technical resolution and coordination of a defined portion of a project, including the definition of data organization and the incorporation of elements into a Building Information Model (BIM).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define project team software parameters and manage standards
  • Coordinate use and track shared electronic documentation and files with project team, clients, and consultants
  • Assist in planning and conducting work, making minor adaptations and modifications to complete working drawing sets
  • Meet with municipal building department and other governing agency officials to coordinate approvals or variances
  • Provide technical support and project communications to the team as required
Requirements:
  • Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems
  • Thorough knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM)
  • Thorough knowledge of Integrated Design Process (IDP) and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)
  • Proficiency in hand and CAD drafting, Revit, and 3D modeling software
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience
  • Licensed Architect with current registration in your region (if licensure is offered in your region)
