About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at Pinheiro's Janitorial Services. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our clients' properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Disinfection and Sanitation: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, and handle and report lost and found items.
  • Customer Service: Provide basic information on facilities, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a positive and professional attitude.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks. Stand for extended periods, walk, and bend, crouch, or kneel as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, office building, cleaning service company, various locations, industrial facility or establishment, commercial building, private residence, healthcare institution, facility, or clinic, shopping centre or mall, and warehouse.
