- Program Development: Collaborate with early childhood educators to develop and implement programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- Storytelling and Activities: Engage children in storytelling, teaching songs, and leading activities that foster learning and development.
- Record Keeping: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining accurate records of children's progress.
- Health and Safety: Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including planning and maintaining a clean and organized space.
- Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
- Certifications and Licenses: Possess Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR certification, as well as an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate and/or Montessori Early Childhood Teacher Certificate.
- Security and Safety: Obtain a criminal record check, medical exam, and immunization records.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Demonstrate ability to perform repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Personal Suitability: Exhibit punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, judgement, reliability, team player, values, and ethics.

Language and Work HoursThe primary language of work is English, and the work hours are 40 hours per week.
