We are seeking two skilled General Internists to join our team at Eagle Ridge Hospital. As a General Internist, you will be responsible for managing complex inpatients, providing clinical care, teaching, and quality improvement. You will work collaboratively with other physicians, learners, hospital staff, and administrators to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of complex inpatients, including those with multiple comorbidities and high acuity needs.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Provide clinical education and training to medical learners and hospital staff.
  • Collaborate with other physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement best practices in patient care.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide coverage for evening and overnight shifts.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

A medical degree from a recognized institution.Current licensure to practice medicine in British Columbia.Advanced training in internal medicine, with a focus on complex patient care.Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.Experience working in a hospital setting, with a focus on quality improvement and patient safety.
