Job Title: LTO French as a Second Language Teacher

We are seeking a qualified LTO French as a Second Language Teacher to join our team at St. John XXIII CS.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French as a Second Language to elementary students. The position is a full-time, 0.83 FTE, and will run from August 29, 2024, to June 27, 2025.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach French as a Second Language to elementary students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Primary/Junior and/or Junior/Intermediate Basic Qualifications
  • French as a Second Language Part 1 Required
