Job Title: French as a Second Language Teacher

We are seeking a qualified French as a Second Language Teacher to join our team at Sir Albert Love CS.

Job Summary:

This is a 0.17 FTE position that requires the teacher to work with students who are learning French as a second language.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach French as a second language to students in a secondary school setting
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students with varying levels of proficiency in French
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate with parents and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to student learning
Requirements:
  • Certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Primary/Junior and/or Junior/Intermediate Basic Qualifications
  • French as a Second Language Part 1
