About the Team

The Growth Marketing team comprises dedicated marketers and channel experts focused on performance. Role Overview

As a Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading global marketing initiatives that support our sales strategies aimed at boosting demand and revenue growth. Your responsibilities will include designing, executing, and refining comprehensive lifecycle campaigns tailored to various user segments and stages of engagement. You will be instrumental in developing an exceptional email marketing program at Stripe, emphasizing user experience and channel effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the ideation, strategy, and execution of extensive lifecycle campaigns to generate and enhance sales pipeline and revenue.
  • Identify customer challenges, propose solutions to enhance user experience, and derive ongoing user insights to guide campaign strategy and improvements.
  • Utilize marketing automation, behavioral analytics, and machine learning techniques to craft personalized experiences at scale.
  • Develop iterative testing plans to consistently optimize and enhance campaign performance.
  • Drive growth across essential metrics (MQLs, SQOs, pipeline, revenue) - measure outcomes, optimize against objectives, and provide regular performance reports.
  • Analyze market trends, generate actionable insights, and share relevant findings across the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Growth, Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Sales, and Marketing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in email marketing/CRM, particularly in lifecycle CRM.
  • 2+ years of B2B marketing experience.
  • In-depth understanding of email marketing best practices (deliverability, privacy regulations) and growth marketing principles (attribution, incrementality).
  • Technical proficiency in email systems (knowledge of webhooks, APIs, liquid logic, ETLs).
  • Experience in articulating requirements to Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to facilitate technical projects.
  • Self-motivated; capable of advancing both strategic and tactical initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical abilities; adept at interpreting trends and deriving actionable insights from data.
  • Proven experience in developing experimentation roadmaps to continuously refine and enhance campaigns.
  • User-centric mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in email marketing/CRM.
  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Marketo, Salesforce, and/or Salesloft.
  • Experience in generating demand for sales teams; understanding of sales concepts, processes, and metrics.

Work Environment

This position offers flexibility for either in-office or remote work arrangements. Office-based employees are expected to spend at least 50% of their time in the office each month, balancing in-person collaboration with individual flexibility.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this role is $136,400 - $204,600. This range may include various career levels at Stripe and will be refined during the interview process based on factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location. Additional benefits may encompass equity, company bonuses, a 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as wellness stipends.
