This is a temporary full-time (40 hours/week) Co-op/Intern position designed for individuals who are eager to gain hands-on experience in the field of technical marketing.
Renesas, a leader in the semiconductor industry, is looking for a driven and analytical candidate to join our product line team. This entry-level role is ideal for students or recent graduates with a keen interest in marketing analytics and data-driven strategies. Key Learning Opportunities –
Comprehensive understanding of hardware industry development from initial concept to end-of-life. Insights into semiconductor product development and practical analog design considerations. In-depth knowledge of timing products and advanced phase lock loop (PLL) technologies. Market intelligence regarding industry trends in semiconductor electronics. Collaboration with engineering teams to navigate trade-offs for achieving feasible technical specifications and system solutions. Exposure to daily business operations within a large-scale semiconductor environment.Responsibilities –
Develop scripts to automate the generation of financial reports. Create and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports to monitor marketing performance. Lead efforts in data cleaning, transformation, and integration to uphold data quality and ensure accuracy. Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance data flow and collection for marketing objectives. Monitor and respond to daily sample requests, market opportunities, and revenue tracking. Work alongside the production team to prioritize customer needs, developments, and shipments. Engage in discussions regarding feature and schedule roadmaps. Partner with the corporate marketing team on product landing pages, sales sheets, blogs, and other sales enablement materials. Qualifications
Ideal Candidate Profile –
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science). 0-3 years of experience in Co-ops, internships, or tactical marketing roles, preferably within the semiconductor sector. Proficient in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, Excel, SQL, or R. Skilled in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical findings into actionable insights. Enthusiastic about learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
