Connected Services Validation Specialist

Job Overview:
The Connected Vehicle Team at RGBSI is transforming the vehicle ownership journey by creating innovative software solutions for Uconnect customers across various digital platforms, including mobile applications, websites, and in-vehicle infotainment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- We are looking for candidates who will take charge of validating Connected Services, Infotainment, Cockpit Personalization, Vehicle Access, Start, & Security through voice of the customer (VOC) feedback at the vehicle level, along with the development and execution of vehicle-level DVP&R.
- The Performance Test Engineer will play a crucial role in the vehicle integration and validation process, overseeing end-to-end validation of connected services features and conducting Customer Functional Objective (CFO) testing.
- This role involves collaborating with Performance Platform Engineers to generate the necessary documentation for resolving issues, particularly when they span multiple vehicle disciplines.
- The Performance Test Engineer will assist the vehicle integration team by ensuring that the vehicle fleet is equipped with the latest software and hardware, and will be responsible for collecting essential data from vehicles as needed.
- Additionally, support for mule vehicles and resolution of mule-related issues will be part of the responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Experience in vehicle-level validation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A strategic mindset.
- Proficiency with CAN tools and Radio/TBM logging tools.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to summarize and present findings effectively.
- Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- A Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an ABET accredited institution.
- Familiarity with FMEA, design validation (DV), process validation (PV), and test planning.
- A minimum of three years of experience in vehicle integration and validation or equivalent experience.
- DFSS Green Belt certification.
Education:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an ABET accredited program.
