Position Overview

Climanetics Inc. is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This role involves a variety of responsibilities related to the upkeep and repair of machinery.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of College or CEGEP program.
Work Environment
  • Involves machinery installation across various locations.
  • Focus on maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Opportunities for relocation may be available.
  • Engagement in machine set-up processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery.
  • Provide coaching and instruction to apprentices.
  • Identify and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ascertain work requirements.
  • Construct foundations necessary for machinery installation.
  • Repair or replace defective components of machinery.
  • Supervise and guide other workers in maintenance tasks.
  • Fabricate parts required during maintenance or set-up activities.
  • Estimate costs and materials for various projects.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery.
  • Install machinery and equipment as required.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment effectively.
  • Commission systems and components as needed.
Physical and Work Conditions
  • Ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Position is physically demanding.
  • Requires strong attention to detail.
  • Involves bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Overtime may be required.
Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
