Meet Our Team: The OXRM team is seeking a Lead Technical Program Manager to facilitate the release cycles and oversee the management of product launches. This role encompasses release coordination, scheduling, timeline management, app submissions, and app publishing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong enthusiasm for technical operations and workflows that provide a competitive advantage and enhance developer productivity. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Scope & Complexity: You will lead projects that span multiple teams, managing dependencies and engaging stakeholders from various external teams. You have the capability to transform ambiguous problem statements into actionable project deliverables across several iterations to achieve optimal outcomes.
  2. Decision Making: You will act as an autonomous representative for your domain, making sound decisions that are frequently correct. Your team looks to you for guidance on both technical and business matters.
  3. Execution: You are highly productive and enhance the productivity of those around you. You maintain a comprehensive understanding of how your projects impact the overall business and continuously seek ways to improve our capacity to deliver large-scale initiatives.
  4. Operations: You thoughtfully apply processes and standards with a focus on automation, identifying the appropriate level of structure to achieve the desired results with minimal overhead.
  5. Influence: You play a pivotal role in your team, providing guidance on product direction, technical designs, and operational strategies.
  6. Communication: Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are exceptional, allowing you to serve as the primary contact for business and technical stakeholders. You are the go-to person for data related to your products, services, and features.
Qualifications:
  1. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a release manager, overseeing global releases across multi-platform systems with internationally distributed teams. Your work ethic and approach set a standard for best practices within the organization. You are a key contributor to your team's strategic planning and demonstrate sound judgment in balancing immediate and long-term business objectives. You foster collaboration, sharing your expertise to enhance the productivity of your colleagues and providing mentorship.
  2. 5-10 years of experience supporting a comprehensive development life cycle for Android/Apple/Web or other platform ecosystems.
  3. Must possess app submission experience in one of the major app store portals.
  4. The Release Manager will supervise several critical functions within the product development environment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to end users and that all changes meet business requirements. This role requires establishing and managing expectations within the business while driving engineering teams to meet those expectations to a high standard.
  5. Experience in operational and release management within an agile framework in a media or technology company is preferred.
  6. Proven experience in driving changes in branching strategy, semantic versioning, sprint planning, dependency management, various testing activities, and release tracking.
  7. Experience collaborating with DevOps teams to enhance the Release Engineering pipeline for automated tracking and reporting on release artifacts: JIRA items, sprint scope, bug reports, test reports, and release notes.
  8. Experience in executing large-scale global product launches through a scalable automated release pipeline workflow utilizing CI/CD and QA automation workflows.
  9. Familiarity with working alongside frontend (iOS, Android, Web, Roku, CTV), SDK, and backend engineering and QA teams to coordinate dependencies and release planning.
  10. Knowledge of change management processes.
  11. Experience working with global teams across product, engineering, QA, and operations functional areas.
  12. Proficient with build and delivery tools such as Maven, Gradle, Bazel for building, and GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Spinnaker, ArgoCD or similar for delivery.
