Job Summary

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to lead our Scanning team in Vancouver. As a Senior Manager, Scanning Operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and identify security gaps, new and evolving cyber threats, and evaluate remedial solutions
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and threat modeling, evaluating risks and making recommendations
  • Support the development and implementation of security processes, tools, and measures to monitor and detect network security threats
  • Lead the Scanning team to ensure safe operations, application on-boarding, and timely delivery
  • Develop innovative solutions and intelligence strategies to stay ahead of emerging threats
  • Establish credibility with stakeholders and senior leaders to provide professional, positive, and credible representation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery aligns with functional strategy and goals
Requirements
  • Experience in complex, fast-paced Cyber Operations and/or Cloud Security environments
  • Proven leadership and coaching abilities, with people management experience
  • Strong technical knowledge in scanning operations across various enterprise environments
  • Excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders, create, report, and present technical ideas
  • Solid foundation in Networking, IT Management, and DevOps practices
  • Strong resource management experience, utilizing JIRA, Confluence
