This position is part of our team at Renfrew Care Centre, a facility that provides a safe and dignified living environment for residents and tenants. We are seeking a Support Services Worker - Housekeeping to provide aspects of support services and hospitality throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide housekeeping services, including cleaning and sanitizing duties, laundry services, and maintaining a safe and sanitary workplace.
  • Respond to resident, tenant, and building emergencies as needed.
  • Participate in department meetings and educational in-services to stay up-to-date on facility policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and respectful work environment.

Requirements:

  • Grade 10 or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • WHIMIS Certificate required.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently and understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
