Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen Duncan. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and staff.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Source and procure high-quality food and kitchen supplies to maintain our high standards.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and direct the activities of our food service staff, ensuring they are trained and equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Train Staff: Provide comprehensive training to our staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the quantity of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire qualified food service staff to join our team.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality control standards.
  • Budgeting: Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for our food service operations.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on our food service operations.
Work Environment:

Our food service establishment is a fast-paced environment that requires strong leadership and organizational skills. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work under pressure to ensure the smooth operation of our business.

Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Language: English.
