We are seeking a dedicated Cashier to manage transactions and provide exceptional service at our gas bar location. This role involves handling various payment methods and ensuring a smooth checkout experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Management: Operate the cash register efficiently, processing payments including cash, checks, and credit/debit cards.
  • Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, including accepting reservations and take-out orders.
  • Inventory Support: Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized counter area.
  • Sales Support: Engage in suggestive selling and participate in promotional activities to enhance customer experience.
  • Age Verification: Ensure compliance by verifying the age of customers purchasing restricted items such as lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco.
  • Daily Reconciliation: Calculate and reconcile daily payments received with total sales.
  • Security Monitoring: Monitor entrances and exits, requesting proof of payment when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.

Work Environment
