Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Coordinator to join our team at Wasteco. As an Account Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, providing financial and administrative support, and ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Receivable
    • Verify and post receipts, resolving discrepancies and ensuring accurate financial records
    • Provide financial, clerical, and administrative services to support efficient and timely payments
    • Analyze past due accounts and prioritize collection efforts
    • Prepare and review accounts receivable reports
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems and statements
  • Office Support
    • Welcome visitors and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
    • Receive and sort daily mail, deliveries, and couriers
    • Update appointment and vacation calendars, and schedule meetings
    • Perform various clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, and faxing
  • Experience
    • Working knowledge of TRUX is an asset
    • Minimum of two years of direct experience in the waste or a related industry
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Self-motivated with high energy and enthusiasm for the work
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset

Work Environment

  • Full-time position
  • Monday to Friday schedule
  • Work location: In person
