Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at Wylds KM Services. As a key member of our outdoor workforce, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and construction of our landscapes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of grounds maintenance professionals, ensuring efficient scheduling and effective supervision.
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans to ensure our landscapes remain healthy and visually appealing.
  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Conduct thorough assessments to determine resource requirements, ensuring accurate estimates and efficient project execution.
  • Organize and Direct Construction of Decks and Decorative or Retaining Walls: Oversee the construction process, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Coordinate with contractors and staff to deliver complex landscape projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately document work activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Maintain the health and appearance of our landscapes through regular pruning and trimming.
  • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: Implement planting schedules to ensure our landscapes remain vibrant and diverse.
  • Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Assist with the distribution of materials, ensuring efficient project execution.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Work Site Environment: Outdoors.
  • Work Setting: Various locations.

  • Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.
