About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Breda Machinery Inc. as an Industrial Welding Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of metal fabrication and welding services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution: Interpret welding process specifications and execute them accurately to meet the required standards.
  • Metal Fabrication: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Material Evaluation: Determine the weldability of materials and ensure they meet the required specifications.
  • Work Environment: Work in a variety of locations, including industrial settings, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
Work Environment and Physical Capabilities
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 hours per week.
