Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team at Ansys. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing cloud-based solutions to enable our customers to benefit from virtually limitless computing power.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cloud-based solutions using AWS and Azure platforms
  • Develop and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize cloud-based projects
  • Develop and implement novel solutions to complex cloud-based problems
  • Participate in Agile process meetings and contribute to code reviews

Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience designing and developing commercial enterprise software
  • Experience with developing web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular or React framework
  • Experience with designing APIs and developing scalable services using object-oriented languages (Python or C# or Java)
  • Experience with large project development and deployment on AWS and/or Azure

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Familiarity with Job schedulers (Slurm) and Container orchestration systems (Kubernetes)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
