Furniture Restoration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team at Quality & Company Inc. as a key member of our Furniture Restoration Department.
Key Responsibilities- Replace worn-out webbing, springs, and other furniture parts to ensure the highest quality of our restored pieces.
- Lay out, cut, fabricate, and install upholstery to meet the exacting standards of our clients.
- Tack, glue, or sew ornamental trim, braids, or buttons to add a touch of elegance to our restored furniture.
- Repair furniture frames and refinish wood surfaces to bring new life to our clients' treasured possessions.
- Operate sewing machines or sew by hand to create intricate designs and patterns.
- Garnish the bottom and the back of a seat with interwoven rattan to add a touch of sophistication.
- Furniture upholstery and repair shop experience is essential, with a focus on high-end restoration and refinishing.
- Experience working with a variety of materials, including wood, fabric, and leather.
- Seats for stadiums, halls, and other high-traffic areas.
- Furniture restoration and refinishing for commercial and residential clients.
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential for this role.
- Ability to distinguish between colors and work with a variety of materials.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- What is the highest level of study you have completed?
- Dental plan and health care plan.
- Permanent full-time position with 35-40 hours per week.
- English language required.
